THE BIG DANCE |
![]() |
here it is, the ultimate battle between the ultimate sport's ultimate teams. across time, across states we bring together the elite teams from each of the first four sbl seasons to determine who, once and for all, can claim to be the best that our "league full of assholes and little kids" has to offer. before we get started, let's take a quick look at THE COMBATANTS. all teams, from the no talent ass clowns to jukebox hero, have been placed in the tournament. the mythical big dance selection commitee (nate tomko)has taken the liberty of seeding the top 16 teams to prevent any potential semifinalist from going down in the preliminaries simply because of luck of the draw. the remaining teams are inserted into the preliminary round (along with the lower seeded-squads) at random, although the commitee did it's very best to prevent any two teams from the same year meeting if at all possible. the highest seeds have the luxary of a first-round bye. finally, due to certain restrictions, no team will boast more than 6 players on it's roster. the players selected to participate in the tournament are those who the commitee feels best represent the team. so don't take it personal if your name is danielle hennon and you didn't manage to crack the double bluff roster. expect a new round to begin each monday for the next month. until then, view the summaries for each of the games by simply clicking on the matchup. to see what the bracket looks like upon completion of a round and get a better look at the matchups for the next round, click HERE. |
