| GAYLEM FAGISMS 16 BOCCE HEROES 1 (6 INNINGS) in the most lopsided preliminary game of the mythical big dance, 2002's gaylem fagisms had their way on both sides of the ball against a very overmatched bocce hero squad representing 2001. the brightest spot of the entire tournament for the heroes was the one on one scrum pitting billy weisberg against jeff meyers. tho meyers was first to reach the ball, weisberg rebounded from being shaken off of his first tackle attempt to slap the ball out of jeff's hands from behind. weisberg then scooped up the pill, laid a de-jockstrapping stutter-step on the gay fag, then scampered accross the finish line amidst a chorus of "oohs" and "aahs" from the predominantly jewish crowd. the head of steam ended there for chris hvizdak's charges, as the fags led off the top of the first with a solo from rookie phil jones, a homer from esenwein, a single from meyers and a homer from lee "pj's brother" nespor. by the time the half-inning ended on weisberg's put-back of nespor's missed triple, the score was 8-0 in favor of team swogger. meyers and esenwein tipped in double plays in the first and second, respectively, as the heroes failed to have a runner reach base in either of the first two innings. while the heroes managed to hold the fagisms scoreless in the second, it would mark the only time all game they achieved that feat. nespor led off the third with a homer, and two batter later esenwein knocked in phil jones with a middle triple to make the count 11-0 after heading into the home half of the inning, when the heroes ryan johnson broke the hitless streak with a one-out single. weisberg and hvizdak then failed on triple attempts to preserve the fag shutout. over the next three innings, the fags got 2 rbi-producing hits from meyers and jones, and another solo jack from nespor to cap the scoring. facing a shutout, the heroes finally got on the board in the bottom of the sixth and last inning on a weisberg solo homer with 2 outs. for the victorious homosexual homos, nespor bombed 3 homers and collected 4 rbi. esenwein added 2 jacks a 6 rbi and jones and meyers each tallied 7 hits. meyers also tipped in 4 double plays and an assist. weisberg tipped in 3 dp's for team bocce.
