LUNCHBOX HERO 5 THE MILF HUNTERS 17 (6 INNINGS) after a one-on-one scrum pitting hunter sam lynn against hero spazz mclaughlin, a scrum in which the female lynn dominated the non-male mclaughlin to the point he had to be helped off the court by a team of paramedics, team milf was able to sprint out to an early lead and never look back. after disposing of the middlesexians 1-2-3 in the first frame, kippy's charges piled up 5 straight hits to start the game, and it was kip himself who ended the run with a 3-run middle homer. by the time tarkanick and lynn recorded back-to-back misses, the second tapped back thru by the only talented mclaughlin, chris, the score sat at a healthy 5-0. lunchbox got a spark of life in the top of the second as andrew heasely, in for the debilitated spazz, led off the inning with a solo homer. josh flynn failed in duplicating the feat as his right homer found nothing but ass clown outdoor arena garage, but chris mclaughlin brought the heroes within three on a solo jack of his own. two straight misses finished the scoring for lunchbox. though lynn and mentrek led off the home half of the second with back to back singles, no runs would come of the leadoff hits as corbett was dp'd by tim mclaughlin for the first two outs, and tarkanick's left homer fell well short of it's mark. following another 3-up, 3-down inning for lunchbox, the hunters slowly began putting the game away in the bottom of the third as lynn, mentrek and corbett all found their stroke from extra-base range, and a pair of tarkanick three-run homers culminated in a 13-3 count at the end of 3. the teams remained scoreless in the fourth, as chris mclaughlin and mentrek exchanged one-out double plays. in the fifth, the heroes broke out of their slump, but could only muster two runs as chris mclauglin led off with a triple, was knocked in by brother tim one batter later, then returned the favor with a run-scoring two-out triple after heasely and flynn's shots missed their mark. another tarkanich three-run homer with two down in the fifth got back the double-digit lead for the hunters, who now put pressure on the heroes to score or the game would be called. the heroes answered the call in the sixth as heasely brought in tim mclaughlin with a triple, but that would be the end of the scoring for the heroes as mentrek tapped in d.p. #2 on the day to end the rally. needing only one run for the mercy rule to kick in, the hunters turned to leadoff man kip corbett to get the ball rolling. he did just that, swishing through a three-bagger to start thing off on the right foot for his squad. two batters later, sam lynn connected for her 5th hit of the day to bring corbett across the plate and end the game in 6. for the victorious, glorious hunters, tark claimed mvp honors with his 10 rbi outing. mentrek collected 3 hits and 2 double plays, and lynn and corbett garnered 5 and 4 hits, respectively. chris mclaughlin led the way for the heroes, tipping in 3 double plays and collecting 5 hits.
