| the 2003 all-star game will be unlike any other! this year, in an attept to add more intensity and interest to the game, the sbl board of directors has approved a drastic change in the game's format: THE WINNING CONFERENCE WILL GET HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE IN THE SBL HOLIDAY CLASSIC! alright, that's not true. but what we have done is alterered the way that the all-stars will be teamed up. instead of american league all-stars battling national all-stars, the sbl has decided to pit sharon, pa against the world. the rules of division are simple. if you graduated from sharon high school, or are currently in line to graduate from sharon high school, you play for sharon. if you don't, you're on the world squad. sounds fun, doesn't it? hopefully, the bitter back-yard feuds that have plagued this area for years can somehow be settled on an sbl court. and if not, hell, it'll at least be fun to watch. listed below are the all-star candidates for both the sharon and world teams. voting will take place in weeks 9 and 10, so if you want a say in this years game, ya best show up. holla. |
