THE RUNNER-UP katie kelly, team 'fro with mac and terry on her team, should be back to the singles and doubles this year nate tomko, laser cats there are only so many homers for nate and terry to divvy up nate tomko, laser cats has always found a way to get his tip-ins. terry hall, team 'fro mac .525 plus katie .625= a shitload of ribbies is terry bats even decently rando knight, funbridges underrated funnyman picks apart the easily psyched out. jeanne, offutt, we're looking at you. terry shernisky, laser cats expect a lot of alley-oops from nate to terry and vice-versa katie kelly, team 'fro batting leadoff on a team that is gonna bat through the lineup a lot? that'll tally a ton of at-bats bryan frankovich, b.frank can he follow up world championship with some individual gold? topping d.p.'s and rbi would be huge. dan sypolt, 'team fro katie added him and terry picked him for a reason. but will he get enough court time? mike frankovich, voltron out from under the wing of little brother/stalin, should become a defensive wiz under zen-like taskmaster weisberg nate tomko, laser cats if he's on, he can certainly take the title from shernisky. last year, he was off. nate tomko, laser cats it's pretty much a two-man race between tomko and kovac, and wither could take it the laser cats it would be foolish to think that shernisky and tomko wouldn't be right in the mix at the end. |

THE WINNER nate tomko, laser cats has been tops in the league in 5 of last 6 seasons, trailing only shernisky by .001 last year terry shernisky, laser cats plain lit it up from deep last year, the only player with a chance to beat him is nate bryan frankovich, b.frank benefits from nate and sherry splitting d.p.'s. nobody to take from b.frank bryan frankovuch, b.frank batting behind aryn is a huge bonus, as all other big guns will have to learn to share dennis lackey, team kippy some people were born to cure cancer. dennis was born to win this sbl stat category. again. nate tomko, laser cats is honestly second to none in this category... unless clayton shows up for an entire year kip corbett, team kippy he'll probably bat leadoff, and since he's the new pres, get plenty of jukebox action if he chooses terry shernisky, laser cats it seems like his time has finally come. chuck muszik, team kippy might be the best player on his team already, and he's never set foot on an sbl court timmy martin, laser cats has the game if he shows up enough. playing with the best in the business will rub off. terry shernisky, laser cats h.r.d. showing last year was just nasty. expect more of the same in week 13 this season. george kovac, funbridges last year's champ has to be favored again, but rumor has it he's dropped about 25 lbs. team 'fro have a ton of weapons on offense, and should be the most consistent team in the league. ultimately, it will all come down to the play of terry hall. |
THE DARKHORSE bill weisberg, voltron batted .100 over his average last year, and has just been absurd in bball this offseason terry hall, team 'fro with katie and max always getting on, should be able to stay outside 'til fall mike moroco, kamikaze on a rather sub-par defensive team, but with sherry and nate battling, could sneak in terry shernisky, laser cats as of now, it seems nate will be setting the table. but don't expect either to be happy without 100 rbi lee nespor, b.frank who else on this team will even try? bryan? aryn? lou? not likely. jon olsavsky, kamikaze is always on base, and as of now it looks like his team is gonna miss a lot of shots. rando knight, funbridge i foresee alot of games with only three players, plus a ton of action in the yellow mesh matt mcclelland, team 'fro unselfish player on loaded offensive team getting recognized? sounds very familiar.... daryll yeager, team kippy could be the most talented player to come from the lube since mark tarkanick... or maybe mike eicher? jeff pallini, funbridges if the starters don't show, could get plenty of chance to reharness the jeff that led the league in avg. briefly in '04 george kovac, funbridges second place finish last year was no fluke dank elly, team kippy has the right combination of speed and power to upset one of the favorties voltron billy weisberg has a team molded after himself. these guys are gonna be tough to beat all year, and if they get hot at the right time... |
