3ND SEED) THE FUPALOOTERS

THE FUPALOOTERS                      19
TRAIN ON TERRY SHERNISKY  25
as they had done som much throughout the regular season and playoffs, the tots used a huge offensive inning to propel themselves to the game one win and take one step closer to a spot in the championship finals.
this time, the inning was the 11-run fourth, which turned a 10-3 defecit into a 4-run lead.  once again, the tots would refuse to relinquish their lead, weathering a late-game charge from fupa to hold on and pick up the biggest win of their postseason thus far.
after a ben smith double play on jeremy battyani got things rolling for the tots in the top of the first, jon biddle, addam stainbrook and brandon mckednry would each collect hits to put a apir on the board for fupa.  the tot offense would not respond, and the score after one stood at 2-0 in favor of biddle's crew.
train on sissy ballgame would take a one-run lead in their next at-bat, but fupa would make it only momentarily as biddle's assist of a stainbrook double would spark his squad to three of their own.  the score would remain unchanged again until the fourth, when both biddle and b-mac would connect for 2-run homeruns to help  build the 10-3 lead which smith and co. would quickly erase.
even after giving up the big inning, fupa hung in the game, actually crawling back to within 20-19 by the middle of the eighth.  unfortunately, they wouldn't score again, and the tots would add a quintet of insurance runs to put the game away.
for the winning tots, mike moroco came up big with a 12 for 14 outing with 5 ribbies and 2 d.p.'s.  smith was the benfeiciary of moroco's shooting, driving in 7 with a 10 for 13 performance with 3 double plays.  christman would add 7 runs driven in, while nespor would account for 6.
in a losing cause, jon biddle would turn in a 10 for 12, 3 homer, 9 rbi, 3 double play, 1 assist line.

THE FUPALOOTERS                       4
TRAIN ON TERRY SHERNISKY  12 (2 INNINGS)
as if they had played the first 11 weeks and 3 games for no reason, the fupalooters decided that there season should be over after about 3 minutes of semifinal game-2 action.  led by the actions of brandon mckendry, fupa got 5 dumb things within 6 batters, and forced the referees to put a stop to the action before things really ever got started.
the 'looters came out of the gate hot, plating 4 runs to start things off in the first.  during the tots at-bat, however, something inside their collective snapped, and with 2 outs and one 5 runs across, mckendry and co. began calling anything than moved a fag.
calling someone a flamer is, of course, against the baseketball rules, and thanks to mckednry's antics, the tots reaped 3 homers and 7 runs to make the game a laugher after the first.
after three consecutive misses on offense, biddle seemed content to piss his season away, and allowed mckednry to continue his questioning of the tots sexual preferences.  fed up, the officials and league sergeant of arms ben elliott decided to call the contest in the bottom of the second and award the game, and a trip to the finals, the train on ted's sister.
fupa wasn't done.  while accounts are sketchy, the aftermath of the game resulted in the tubbietronic superdrome's covering in beer and cooler water, as well as the shaving of roxie the dog's ass.  then things got really ugly...
anyway, mike moroco paced the tots with a 4 for 5, 6 rbi showing, though i'm sure he'd admit mckendry was the best thing to happen to his team in the game.  jeremey battyani drove in 2 for the losers.
with the win, the tots earn a spot in the sbl finals on sunday the 14th againt the regular season champs pj & the ladies.  as a six, they are the lowest seeded squad ever to make it to the finals.

GAME OF THE SERIES:  not the bullshit one
PLAYER OF THE SERIES:  since nobody really did enough to earn it, we'll give it to mckendry, who had the most to do in terms of the outcome
