NAACP - 3 Purple Undpendables - 2 the naacp and undependables followed up to the ass clowns offensive outburst by posting the lowest-scoring game in league history, a 3-2 nail biter that came down to the final at-bat. jeff meyers, who had been benched for disciplinary reasons, was called upon in the bottom of the ninth with two out, one on base, and his team trailing by one, to sink a homer and give his team the one run victory. meyers' high-pressure shot rimmed out, and the naacp took an ugly 1 to 0 lead in the series. for the naacp, jamie moroco hit 4 of 10 shots with a homer, sean hood nailed a homer, and jon olsavsky chipped in with 3 double plays. the victors evenly divided the three rbi's. for the undependables, gary swogger supplied the offense off the bench, hitting a two-run homerin the fifth to tie up the game. hammy and hamlet each went four of 11 with a double play.
