Pat Lackey's Lethal Lottery Analysis

Move: Jon Olsavsky to PJ & the Ladies

What it means for Jon: Jon moves from a team where he was so unhappy he'd rather play frisbee than baseketball to where he truly belongs, PJ & and the Ladies. This can only be a good thing.

What it means for PJ and the Ladies: They add another living legend to the crew of PJ, Nate, Rando, and Billy, while only losing Aryn Christman. Aryn, unfortunately was the only thing resembling a leadoff hitter for the Ladies. Plus, she's way hotter than Jon O. This may be the best double play/assist team of all time, but will they be able to get on base for Nate? And will they ever remember what it was like to have fun in the SBL? These are the questions that must be answered.

Move: Greg Lackey to Koopa Troopa

What it means for Greg: He moves to a slightly better team but will probably fulfill the same role, leadoff hitter. He'll probably score more runs with Mac and the Franks behind him than he did with Bidd and Battyani behind him though.

What it means for Koopa: They finally get a true leadoff hitter. Mac filled the role admirably for the first 8 weeks, but everyone knows he's better suited to bat later in the lineup. On paper this move should make them better, but in Greg's first week they did go 0-2 with a humiliating loss to Jukebox. I guess Greg just can't replace Mikey in B. Frank's heart.

Move: Pat Lackey to the Return of the Weenises

What it means for Pat: So you go off to college and leave your high school girlfriend behind. You meet this really hot chick at college. She does things you didn't even think were possible when you were back in high school, yet for some reason when you go home for your first break you find yourself hooking up with your high school girlfriend again. And you like it. She's not as hot as the girl from college and she can't do the same things, but for some reason you can't stop yourself from going back, and you can't stop yourself from liking that girl from high school a little bit more. That's me and the Weenises.

What it means for the Weenises: Trading one Lackey for another, one true Weenis for another may seem like a wash on this one, but then again, seeing how surprisingly happy I am to be back in the yellow, I think good things are in store for the Weenises.

Move: Aryn Christman to the T.O.T.S. (aka Team Statutory Rape)

What it means for Aryn: She'll get some solid PT now that she's off the star studded ladies, AND she gets to play with Katie Kelly, forming some kind of twisted, inverse Mikey and Brian tandem that has every guy in the league drooling.

What it means for the TOTS: Yeah, they lose Jeff Knight, which is huge, but if Ben Smith shows up they can bat two leadoff hitters followed by two run producers, as Mikey and Ben are having All-Star seasons. The downside is that this team will be smaller than everyone underneath. The upside is that they might never miss.

Move: Jeff Knight to Uncle Jed

What if means for Jeff: He gets to bat behind Shelley. Do I need to add more?

What it means for Uncle Jed: They've been the hottest team in the league the past few weeks, and Jeff makes them better. He could finally be the big hitter Shelley's been looking for all year to drive her around the bases (so she doesn't have to drive herself in so much any more). This team just got real dangerous.

Move: Dennis Lackey to the Fupalooters

What it means for Dennis: Dennis moves from one team lead by a lanky double play machine surrounded by role players to another. Except that Terry shoots better than Biddle. And we all know Dennis is a Weenis at heart.

What it means for the Fupalooters: They lose a great leadoff man in Greg, but Dennis wasn't an All-American last year for nothing. Now that he's playing aganist his best friends, that hilarious psyche out/RBI machine from last year is still somewhere. If that somewhere happens to be at baseketball (a problem for Dennis this year) then it can only mean good things for one of the hottest teams in the SBL.

Move: Dank Elly to Analisa Goodthing What it means for Dank: The pressure of hitting behind Shelley is finally off and he can join his buddies on Team Anal.

What it means for AGT: SMOKER REUNION! It would seem to be a downgrade to go from the legendary Jon O. (the Larry Bird of the SBL some might say) to Dank (more like the Vince Carter of the SBL, promising start, confusing and disappointing since then), but sometimes people simply play better with their friends. If that's the case, adding Dank to Billy P. and Big Whitey might be just what Goodthing needed.
