TEAM WET DREAM           17
THE FRANKENBITCHES  18
as the first game of the week got rolling, it seemed eerily similair to the week one meeting between these two powerful squads, with the frankenbitches taking control early, but never really putting any distance between themselves and their opponents.  then, again in a fashion which saw them blow a win a week ago, the frankebitches allowed the wet dream offense to go off in the late innings, seemingly putting the game out of reach.  this time, however, team frank had an answer.
after taking a 6-3 lead into the sixth, the frankenbitches watched the wet dream offense suddanly come to life.  a six-run stanza to take the lead was followed by a seven-run inning to all but nail the coffin shut of bryan frank and company.  now trailing 17-7, and appearing deflated to many in attendance, the 'bitches got a leadoff triple in the bottom of the eighth from their taskamaster, lighting a 5-run rally that cut thelead to 17-12.  then, after holding the prolific twd offense in check in the top of the ninth, frank kept right on rolling, getting a single from jon olsavsky followed by a two-run jack from dennis lackey to get the ball rolling.  mike frank then singled, brother bryan plated him with a triple, then, in the play of the game, bryan fought through all three members of the wet dream defense to tip in a huge assist on olsavsky's single miss and keep the rally alive.  two batters later, mike frank's three-bagger drove in dennis lackey, putting the final touch on the best comeback of the season thus far.
bryan led the way for his squad, putting through 6 of 11 shots with 3 rbi, 2 assists and 5 double plays.  mike frankovich added 7 hits and 5 ribbies, while dennis lackey came off the bench to go a perfect 3 for 3 with 3 rbi.
aryn christman paced the losers with a 10 for 16, 6 rbi outing.

JUKEBOX HERO                   3
LIVE SEX CELEBRATION  17 (8 INNINGS)
led by a breakout game from captain nate tomko, the live sex offense finally came to life after a very ho-hum week one, dropping 17 on jukebox in a contest ended prematurely thanks to the mercy rule.  tomko finished with an impressive 10 for 13, 7 homer, 13 rbi line with 6 double plays.
perhaps even more impressive than tomko's play, however, was that of the combined defense of live sex, who are holding opposing offenses to a miniscule 4 runs per game thus far in the young season.
aside from the homerun onslaught, lsc got a pair of 5-hit games from jamie moroco and kip corbett.
for jukebox, captain dennis lackey hit on half of his 6 attempts with 2 rbi, 3 double plays and a psyche out.  cassie "the assassin" pyle dropped through 4 of her seven attempts.  also suiting up for the yellow mesh were lee nespor, lenny crist, and rookie phenom justine rayner, none of whom did anything worth mentioning.

THE MINORI-TEAM                       10
thanks to the stellar play of one terry hall, the minorities were able to pick up their first win of the season despite being short the best player of their team, matt mcclelland, who was in a methodone clinic.
though they were playing without tree in the middle jon biddle, cashdollar did a fairly good job under the glass, going double play for double play against a team who probably should have dominated in that category, and keeping the dangerous put-back tandem of terry hall and billy weisberg out of the assist column.  unfortunately, the pink offense was virtually nonexistent, combining for only 10 hits,  stringing two together only once in the contest.
the minori-team, meanwhile, snapped out of the funk that saw them score only once their last time out, led by hall's 8 for 12, 2 homer, 2 double play contest.  out of the leadoff slot, erin hayden punded through 5 shots, while weiseberg added a trio of ribbies.
in a losing cause, mike moroco tipped in 3 double plays and registered a psyche out.

THE FRANKENBITCHES  16
BUKKAKE TSUNAMI          5
riding high coming off their huge win against team wet dream, the 'bitches kept right on rolling, this time tearing through a bukkake tsunami team that seemed as though they'd never seen a game of baseketball in their lives.
bukkake failed to register a hit until the bottom of the fourth inning, and by that time the frankebitches had scored more than what they would need to eventually win the contest.
bukkake surrendered only one run to the bitches in the top of the first, stranding two runners and looking to capitalize on keeping the tough offense under wraps.  however, captializing would have required making a shot or two, something they didn't actually get done.  the frankenbitches, of course, made them pay in the second, running the score up to 5-0 on a run capped by bryan frank's 2-run longball.  another 1-2 inning for bukkake was followed by a couple more runs from frank, and suddenly it looked as though this one wasn't making it past the sixth inning.
when bukkake finally got on the board in the fourth thanks to four conecutive extra-base hits to cut the defecit to 6-3, team frank answered with 7 more in the top of the very next inning to once again turn the game into a laugher.  only a couple of "the most exciting plays in baseketball", back to back solo homers from bukkake tsunami in the seventh, were worht mentioning from this point on.
in a winning effort, bryan frank continued his terrific early play with a 7 for 10, 7 rbi, 2 homer, 4 double play outing.  jon olsavsky added 5 hits and 4 rbi.
for bukkake tsunami, rando knight hit on half of his 8 shots.

TEAM WET DREAM  5
JUKEBOX HERO       4
team wet dream nearly gave lowely jukebox hero their first win, but the total inept jukebox somehow found a way to lose this one.
after blowing a big lead earlier in the day, wet dream came out flat  recording only three hits in the first four innings, and getting nothing out of big play terry shernisky.  jukebox hero, meanwhile, was doing what they normally do- missing shots and botching double plays- but for some reason this time they were keeping themselves right in the game.
when wet dream got on the board in the top of the second, jukebox answered right back in the third.  jukebox followed wet dream's three run sixth with one of their own, and the game was knotted at 4 heading into the ninth.
shernisky finally found his stroke when it mattered most, drilling a leadoff three-bagger.  following a dennis lackey double play of a lee nespor miss, aryn christman, the only twd'er to play well all day, singled in what would eventually be the winning run.
clinging to a one-run lead and fighting a very partisan crowd, twd captain katie kelly tipped in jamie moroco's bottom of the ninth leadoff double attempt for a d.p., making up for her rather shoddy shooting.  one batter later, the game was over and jukebox' upset bid came up a run short.
for the winners, christman wrnt 6 for 9 with 1 rbi.  shernsiky added 3 rbi and 5 double plays.
jukebox was paced by jamie moroco's 4 for 7, 2 rbi performance.
THE MINORI-TEAM             9
LIVE SEX CELEBRATION  15
thanks to another superb outing from captain nate tomko and a breakout performance from jamie moroco out of the leadoff spot, live sex celebration was able to keep their record an unblemished 4-0 while the mclleland-less minorities dropped to 1-3.
tomko stroked through 5 homers, including a pair in the first (one of which was put back in for an assist by *gasp* jamie moroco herself!) which propelled lsc to a 6-3 lead after one.  from that point on, it was all downhill for erin hayden's charges, who were met with another tomko jack after every run at the lead they made.
defensively, live sex dominated.  hayden and billy weisberg combined to go 5 for 24 from the field, and each miss cost them dearly as the sbl stingiest defense capitalized with a double play in all but one inning.
when the dust settled, tomko had rung up a 9 for 14, 5 hr, 6 double play, 1 assist game with 10 rbi, the second consectutive 10+ ribbie outing on the day for the reigning player of the year.  moroco put through 10 of her 14 attempts with 4 batted in.
for the losers, terry hall went 9 for 12 with 6 rbi.
