SUMMARY OF GAMES:  MAY 27, 2001


NAACP               -13
PJ & the Ladies  - 7

 
the second week of the SBL season began as many of the future weeks are sure to begin, with PJ and the Ladies suffering a humiliating defeat, this time by a 13-7 score.  the game marked the debut of the SBL's first female (note i didn't say non-male) player, jamie "dead-eye" morocco.  and what a debut it was as dead-eye fired in 11 of 15 attempts for an astounding .730 average.  morocco also drove home 4 runs.
  also for the winners, jon olsavsky hit 8 of 13 while driving in 5 and sean hood helped out with 2 homers.
  for the LOSERS, lenny crist continued his impressive early campaign with an 8 of 13 night with 3 homers and 5 rbi's.
  before the game, naacp captain jon olsavsky unveiled his team's new name, changing it from the conscientous objectors.



Rainbow Undetermineds  - 12
NAACP                          -  7

 
the undetermineds ended the naacp's winning streak at 2 via a 12-7 comeback victory.  team rainbow trailed 6-0 early on, but rallied for 9 runs in the fifth thru seventh innings as the sky opened up and soaked auschwitz gardens.
  three new players made their debut for the undetermineds.  captain chris hvizdak was sitting at denny's with his thumb up his ass as marc owens led the way with 9 hits and 8 rbi', including 1 homerun.  billy weisberg helped out with an 8 of 15 night with three runs batted in.  ryan johnson's debut included 2 hits and an rbi.
  for  the naacp, sean hood tallied 6 rbi's and a homerun while jon olsavsky went 4 of 10 with an rbi.
  the undetermineds turned 5 double plays.



No Talent Ass Clowns        - 13  (8 innings)
Intergalactic Clown Posse   - 3

 
the ass clowns exploded for 6 runs in the 7th inning to put the close game out of reach for the icp.  the game was ended after the 8th inning when joel lepak's double brought home josh robbs for the ten-run mercy.
  hammy made his much-awaited SBL debut and didn't dissapoint his fans as he drove in all three of the icp's runs on a 4 for 8 night which inluded 2 homers.  tino soto pacheco, who was traded to the icp before the game for absolutley nothing, went 1 for 3.
  for the victors,  joel lepak went 9 of 14 with a homer and 4 rbi's.  josh robbs also drove in 4 on 5 for 14 shooting, and  nate tomko hit 3 homers and drove in 5 while turning 5 double plays in the field.
