WEENISES                             13
RATCHET TUNDER STUDS  28 (8 INNINGS)
the weenises jumped out to an early 8-1 lead by the end of the second inning, thanks in large part to back-to-back homers by ween farmartino, but were unable to hold on during a furious middle-inning offensive explosion by the thunder studs.  led by nate tomko's 10 for 12 shooting, 11 rbi, 4 homerun (1 grand slam), 5 double-play, 5 assist line, the r.t.s. scored 8 in the 4th inning, 4 in the fifth, and 14 in the sixth.

leading the way for the weenises was captain jamie moroco, who survived a collision with nate tomko in the second inning thanks to lenny crist's charging about the court like a moose on speed, who hit 5 of 9 attempts including a homer to drive in 4.  ween farmartino went five of nine with 5 rbi.  moroco also turned 2 dp's in the field.

PJ & THE LADIES                  9
TEAM CRACKALAKALAKAN  2

after 12 months of hoping, praying, being let down by empty promises and fighting thru game after game of tears, pj and the ladies finally got to play a game with their most lovable and huggable player, steve "the sex machine" mentrek.  and wouldn't you know it, mentrek's presence was just what the ladies(2-0) needed to spark only their second two-game winning streak in team history.
mentrek went 3 of 11 from the field with a pair of rbi and a double play, but he was obviously the inspiration for big rando knight's 6 of 11, 3 rbi, 3 dp line.  pj nespor added 3 rbi's and a double play.
for crackalakalakan (0-2), tim mjofflon hit a homer and drove in both of his team's runs.

the game remained tied until the ninth, when betts hit a one out single, then prevented a double play attempt by the weenises, which allowed for condo's late-game heroics.
