THE FRANKENBITCHES    8
LIVE SEX CELEBRATION  10
in the opening game of week four action, live sex celebration came from behind to build a big lead, then held on through a late-game charge from the f'inbitches to snap their 2-game losing streak.
nate tomko led the charge for live sex, hitting 6 of 11 with a pair of jacks, and five each of rbi and double plays.  jamie moroco chipped in with 3 rbi, and kip corbett went an un-corbettlike 5 for 11 with 2 rbi.  he usually does way worse.
the frankenbitches jumped out to a 3-1 lead after three as both teams struggled with the unfamiliar hoop of sucka-free early on.  just as the game seemed to be looking like one of those over/under of 8 contests, live sex got some stuff happening with their bats in the bottom of the sixth.  the jade dome and azalea knocked down 5 straight, including a tomko homer, to plate 6 and take a 7-3 lead.
frank wouldanswer back with 2 in the seventh as bryan frankovich would triple in jon olsavsky, then olsavsky would return the favor, but another tomko longball in the bottom of the inning would cap a three-run stanza to make the count a comfortable 10-5.
frankovich would threaten again in the bottom of the eighth, scoring three and having runners on first and third, but a timely tomko double play would squash the rally and end the scoring for both squads.
frankovich led the way for his namesake, driving in 3 and putting through 4 double plays.  olsavsky was tops in the batting department with 5 hits.

THE FRANKENBITCHES  12
THE MINORI-TEAM           13 (11 innings)
the frankenbitches continued their spiral downward, losing their fourth straight and looking nothing like the team that sat atop the sbl a few weeks ago.  the minori-team, meanwhile, made it three wins in a row and 4 out of five to overtake the 'bitches for second place in the conference.
as they had against live sex one game prior, the franks got into a hole and despite some late-game offense, were uable to wrestle the win back from the streaking black and gold.  the minoriteam hung five runs on the black and orange in the second, highlighted by a billy weisberg 2-run homer, then four more in the fourth as weisberg went deep for the second time and mcclelland followed suit.  by the time the seventh inning stretch rolled around, frank and co. found themselves down 10-2.
perhaps sparked by the entrance of greg lackey into the fray, the dormant frankenbitch offense suddenly sprung to life.  glackey led off the top of the inning with a double, and the next two batters followed suit as the minoriteam watched helplessly as the rally caps came on.  a botched double play attempt gave the 'bitches extra life, and mike frankovich made it count with a huge 2-out, 2-rbi triple to pull his squad to within 2.  then, after holding the minors hitless in the bottom of the frame, frank actually took a lead heading into the last of the ninth when bryan frankovichs triple made the score 12-10.
matt mclleland, now facing a 2-run defecit in a game that only minutes before looked to be in the bag, calmly banked theough a leadoff double from the middle to get his team going.  hayden and weisberg obviously weren't in the mood for a win, however, as both badly missed their shots to leave the contest in mclleland's hands.  and the former player of the year did what player of the years do- he sank a huge 2-run homer to tie the game seconds before another weisberg miss would send the game into extra innings.
in the bonus time, both teams traded scorless tenths, then the minors got a huge d.p. from mac to keep the frankenstank off the board in the 11th.  once again, when his team needed it most, mcclelland led off the 11th with a double, but this time he got some help from his team as hayden and weisberg would knock down singles to bring the game to a close.
mac finished with 9 hits in 14 at bats with 7 rbi and 5 double plays.  weisberg added 5 rbi and 3 d.p.'s.
for the losers, bryan frakovich registered 5 rbi and 7 double plays.

TEAM WET DREAM   15
BUKKAKE TSUNAMI  6
the "game of the week" turned out to be a laugher as the national leading team wet dream had their way with the american leaders bukkake tsunami in one of the most one-sided contests of the afternoon.
on their way to proving that they are the team to beat in the sbl this year, wet dream got a breakout 3-homer, 8 rbi game from lee nespor, as well as the normal 7-hit games from aryn christman and terry shernisky.  in addition to the hits, sherry tipped in 5 double plays, christman three.
the game was never really close.  despite winning the scrum and getting on the board first thanks to pat lackey's rbi double, the tsunami trailed 3-1 after 1, and the margin had grown to 5 by the end of the third thanks to the outside shooting of nespor and shernisky.
as usual, bukkake turned the game into a solo homer contest between themselves, giving them virtually no chance at coming back, especially considering that wet dream kept pouring it on.  by the time the game mercifully ended in the ninth (bukkake hit just enough solo shots to prevent the 15-run rule), wet dream had made it three wins in a row and bukkake tsunami 3-game win streak had come crashing to earth.
in a losing effort, pat nespor hit 2 homers and drove in 2 runs.  both were team highs.

JUKEBOX HERO                              5
CASHDOLLAR & ASSOCIATES  6
despite facing a pretty tough jukebox squad, cashdollar was able to pull out the narrow victory to get back into the race in the sbl playoff hunt by a 6-5 count.
though the jukebox lineup featured names like all-star ben elliott and player of the yea nate tomko, it was jbh captain dennis lackey that did most of the work in this one, hitting 5 of his 6 attempts qith 3 homers and all but one rbi.  defensively, lackey added 2 psyche outs.
for the winners, danielle hennon contributed with 6 hits and 3 rbi, both team highs, while mike moroco led the way across the plate with 4 double plays.
in a contest that was tight throughout, cash found themselves trailing by 2 heading into the bottom of the ninth.  after a hennon single and mike moroco double put the runners in scoring position, a biddle missed double put jukebox back in the drivers seat.  hennon hit her second single of the inning one batter later to bring her team within one, but then a moroco double miss gave jukebox a crack at the double play and the win until jon biddle swooped in from third base to swat the tomko d.p. attempt away and preserve the game.  with his now full of life, biddle tied the game and moved the winning run to third with a huge 2-out double.  hennon, the next batter, then calmly  knocked down her third clutch single of the inning to end the yellow mesh's chance at win number one and send cashdollar into a jubilant celebration full of pre-recorded sex.
THE MINORI-TEAM           10
LIVE SEX CELEBRATION  12
live sex continued their stellar play in week 4, earning their second win of the week and bringing the minori-teams three-run win streak to a halt.
lsc never trailed in the contest, though the minors did manage to tie the game on a billy weisberg grand slam in the top of the eighth.  live sex had an answer every time, and following the weisberg salami, tomko drilled a 2-run homer to cap the scoring as the defenses would take over from that point on.
live sex (6-2) was led by tomko's 7 for 9 outing which included 3 homers, 7 runs batted in, 5 double plays, an assist and a psyche out, marking only the fifth time in sbl annals that a player registered in every statistical column.  jamie moroco chipped in with 4 hits and 3 batted in.
in a losing cause, weisberg drove in five and tipped in a double play.  mcllelland added 6 hits and 3 double plays.

BUKKAKE TSUNAMI  4
JUKEBOX HERO          9
thanks to a first-inning grand slam from captain dennis lackey, jukebox hero finally got into the win column after suffering 7 consecutive defeats.  bukkake tsunami, as with most teams this year, are now back on a losing streak after their 3 game winning streak heading into week four.
congratulations go out to all five jukebox heroes who saw playing time in this one, and as a reward, we'll post the stat line for all five:
justine rayner- 2 for 8
mikey moroco- 1 for 5, 1 rbi, 4 double plays, 2 dumb things
jamie moroco- 4 for 7, 1 homer, 2 rbi
dennis lackey- 1 for 7, 1 grand slam, 4 rbi, 1 double play, 1 psyche out
bryan frankovich- 1 for 3, 2 rbi, 1 double play.
as usual, bukkake tsunami fell behind and strated reigning solo homers.  because they lost to juekbox, however, we won't be putting up their stats.

TEAM WET DREAM           16
LIVE SEX CELEBRATION  4
live sex celebration once again choked facing the sbl's best... you know what?  i don't even want to relive this one.  here are some stats:
for wet dream, winners of 4 straight, aryn christman went a superb 13 for 15 with 6 rbi and a pair of double plays.  terry shernsiky added a 7-hit, 7 rbi outing with a pair of d.p.'s, and lee nespor drove in 3.
for the losers, tomko hit on 5 of nine with a homer and 2 rbi while tipping in 6 defensively.

CASHDOLLAR & ASSOCIATES  4
THE MINORI-TEAM                       16
coming into this matchup, cashdollar seemed to have all the momentum.  they had just pulled out a huge last-inning win over jukebox to avoid becoming the first team to surrender a loss to the 'box in '06, while the minori-team had just finished getting swept by live sex celebration in their season series to bring and end to their winning ways.
and that is why we play the games.
this one was about as close as the ages of rando and his girlfriend.  the "defensive-minded" cashdollar surrendered five run innings in both the third and sixth, while their stagnant offense failed to score five runs all game.  in fact (and i looked this up), cash set an sbl 2006 record with only 7 hits in the entire game.
billy weisberg continued his solid play, drilling 5 homers (a career high) and plating 9 on 6 of 13 shooting with an assist.  the assist was a giant one, as weisberg cut down the lane from third to tip in a mclleland 3-run homer miss in the big third stanza for the minors.
matt mcclelland led his team with 8 hits, often setting the table for weisberg, but also nailing 2 homers of his own while plating 6.  defensively, the big man continued to impress, tipping in 6 double plays to bring his season total to 21, good for fifth in th eleague despite missing a weeks worth of action.
for cashdollar, who now find themselves on the outside of the playoff hunt looking in, mikey moroco drove in 2 to lead his team.  biddle tapped in 3 double plays defensively.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  ARYN CHRISTMAN & BILLY WEISBERG - aryn for her retarded game against live sex and billy for finally, after five long seasons, finally having a billy weisberg game
TEAM OF THE WEEK: TEAM WET DREAM- two games ahead of the pack with a 2-0 tiebreaker with live sex?  this team is now in total control of the sbl
GAME OF THE WEEK:  THE MINORITEAM OVER THE FRANKENBITCHES IN 11- a comeback, a 2-out homer in the ninth... if only it had ended on a homer instead of a single...
