FACT OR FICTION IV with big rando, frank and nate |
1- A 3-9 RECORD AND ONLY 1 TOTAL INNING IN THE PENALTY BOX PROVES THAT PJ & THE LADIES ARE A BETTER TEAM WHEN THEY'RE SREWING OFF |
big rando: fact. pj & the ladies have taken a more serious approach to games this season and what has it got them? their record is horrible, and their games just aren't up to the high standards of entertainment that they've set in previous seasons. it's been said that pj & the ladies were baseketball before baseketball was cool, but it's just not happening this season. |
frankovich: not only are they doing bad, they're not providing the much-needed entertainment from big rando or the humorous psyche-outs of lenny crist. but all of this could be changed with the much-needed help from my cousin stud. maybe he can do the work while they do their shenanigans |
nate: fiction. if the ladies were dicking off as they have in past seasons, they wouldn't even have those three wins. they lost their best player 1 game into the season, a huge loss. this team is putting the zany antics on hold because they want to win, and they can't afford to screw around, they just aren't good enough. however, they would be a funnier team if they threw in the towel and turned back down that dark road. i suppose in many wasys funnier is better. |
2- LEE NESPOR IS HAVING AN ALL-STAR SEASON |
fiction. although he's having a stellar season, you have to realize he's playing for sharon, not the world, going up against many of the sbl's greats. but on the other hand, he's providing his team with the right amount of "spunk" thats needed to reach the playoffs. how about dennis lackey, anyone? |
fact. lee nespor has been playing well this season. he's hit quite a few game winner is the past weeks. his average is a little low, and his team may not be winning many games, but those two factors have never stopped voting for me. i think lee has a shot to make it this season. |
fact. i don't know what frankovich is talking about... the sharon side is weaker than the world team this year. sure, sharon still has myself, billy and shelly on the all-star team, but i'd have a hard time putting any other tiger on the team ahead of lee. he's having a great year. the only knock on lee, his average, may actually be the best arguement in his favor. do you know how hard it is to get 39 rbi when you're batting .280? that's the timely hitting i want in an all-star. |
3- ELYSA FARRELL IS THE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER IN THE SBL |
fact. she has the second best average in the league, and you can almost always count on her in the clutch. she was a huge factpr in the transexual heartbreakers playoff success last season. i don't underestimate her at all, bustg i can't think of anyone more underrated by most of the league. |
fiction. although she doesn't get all the "hype", i'd have to go with her teammate kurt rodemoyer. he'd definately be the most underrated player in the sbl. if he's not hitting shots and getting rbi's, he's right next to clayton for defensive tip-ins. he's an all-around player, maybe 2nd team all-american. |
fiction. i know how good she is, she scares me more than anyone on clayton's bitch-ass team. k-unit and jared have bad days; elysa doesn't. as an opponent, there's nothing worse than someone who is always on base. the most underrated player in the sbl? how about teddy ballgame? he's though of as more of a side show, but the kid got HUGE game. he can shoot for average, hit homers, and even tip in if he has to. and he takes up so much freakin' room underneath, he makes it nearly impossible to get any tip-ins. |
4- HOOSIER DADDY HAS A LEGITIMATE SHOT AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP |
fiction. the k-y connection may be the only team to have beaten the sj2b this season, but it was their first week and without nate tomko. it was also the debut of many of the sj2b's players and they just weren't able to click yet. hell, they had a tough time with pj&l, too. the playoffs are 2 out of 3, and i just don't see hoosier daddy being able to beat the bluffs twice in one day. |
fact. speaking for my team, i think we definately have a shot at the sbl championship. without the much-needed help from tark, there will be a struggle. but if h.daddy continues to make their shots and get tip-ins on defense while lackey gets his 1000th psyche-out, then sure they'll win it. |
fact. most likely not, but as last year proved, any team can make it to the finals. it only takes one week of a team showing up shorthanded or playing shitty. but they need to make the playoffs first, and they're far from locking that up. |
5- THE SCRUM SHOULD BE ELIMINATED FROM THE SBL |
fiction. i can't believe something like this would even be considered. granted there have been times when a team refuses to scrum, but why let a couple of pussies stop us from having a little fun? this season we've seen pat lackey with a garbage can on his head, countless brutal spear tackles (including me spearing jamie moroco), and shelly goodpastor scumming ted. why would we want to do away with that? |
fiction. the scrum has and always will be part of the sbl. i mean sure it's dangerous when you have matt mcclelland spearing someone like moroco or me, but hey... where's the fun in no scrum? |
fiction. hey, and while we're at it, let's get rid of doubles and psyching out, too! i'm about sick of pussy-ass bitches paper-scissor-rocking there way out of scrums. maybe the reason there's so much elbow-slapping, body colliding going on every time i leave the ground for a tip-in is because so many of the toenail-painting mama's boys of the sbl refuse to take out their aggression in the scrum like they should. |
6- THIS WILL BE THE WEEK THE SERBIAN JEW DOUBLE BLUFFS FINALLY LOSE A GAME |
fiction. sj2b have already beaten the smokers twice this season and i don't think they'll have any trouble with them this week. last week donkey punch gave them a good fight, but tomko was hung over and shelly was nowhere to be found. also, this week will be personal if clayton and k-unit show up. those two have been talking big in the last few weeks, and tomko and mcclelland will be fired up for this one. i don't even think this game will be close. |
fiction. if they continue to nail their shots and play great defense, then they'll go the rest of the season without a loss. i don't see how any team could stop them. |
fiction. no, we're not going to allow any team to beat us just yet. assuming our team shows up mostly in tact, we'll flex our muscles for one last week, lock up the top seed in the playoffs with a couple of huge wins, then relax for the last 2 weeks and most likely drop at least one before heading into the postseason to get it out of our systems. option b, we beat donkey punch by 12, then letdown and lose to xdeathx. but i wouldn't bank on that one. |
