TRANSEXUAL HEARTBREAKERS/WEENISES STRIKE BACK

game 1:
TRANSEXUAL HEARTBREAKERS  34
WEENISES STRIKE BACK                11
this series was over about the time the weenises stepped onto the court.
in what will undoubtedly go down in the sbl books as the most lopsided championship series in history, the transexual heartbeakers had their shit together- as in, new sbl record set in 33% less innings together- while the weenises simultaneously lost the magic that had carried them over the final 5 weeks of the season.
it wasn't until the 12 batter of the game that the weenises recorded their first out.  by that time, the heartbreakers had built a commanding 9-run lead.  fortunately, the first-inning trannie scoring ended a batter later and the heartbreakers wouldn't score nine in an inning again for about 10 minutes.
brace yourself for these stats:  elysa farrell hit 14 of 18 shots for 4 rbi and k-unit rodemoyer hit 9 of 17 shots for5 rbi..  not impressed?  jared clayton owned the game to the tune of 25 (yes, twenty-five) rbi, 7 homeruns and 5 double plays. oh, and he hit 14 of 17 shots.  can he lose the one-dimensional thing already?
for the weenises, who in all respects didn't play all that poorly (11 runs in 6 innings would actually be above the sbl average), pat lackey drove in 7 runs and psyched out jared clayton twice.  bill weisberg added 3 double plays.
in case you're wondering, the heartbreakers scored  7 each in innings 2 and 3, a miserable 2 runs in inning 4, 5 in the fifth and 4 in the 6th.

game 2:

WEENISES                  6
HEARTBREAKERS  21

think the weenises were a bit deflated after the previous loss?  you bet your sweet ass they were.
once again, the heartbreakers came out slingin', bringing 7 runs across the plate in the bottom of the first and never looking back.  the highlite of the game was a 10-run fourth which saw jared clayton bang out a par if 3-run homers.  for the game, clayton finished with8 hits in 10 at-bats with 16 rbi, 5 homers and 4 double plays.
the rest of the heartbreakers were not to be outdone, as elysa farrell (who had made an honest push at playoff mvp before clayton went nuts) hit 8 of 10 shots  and kurt rodemoyer added 6 rbi.
for the weenises bill weisberg went 4 of 7 and pat lackey drove in 3 runs.
the weenises left 8 runners on base.  the heartbreakers stranded one.
